In
this edition you will come across the concept that different
lives or levels can be discerned
both in men and women. Knowing that we
are not just one thing, can be enormously
helpful in understanding ourselves and others. For your benefit we have gathered some key
points about these lives and how they can
manifest in the genders. It is not meant to
give a complete overview, we are looking here
at a 'living' research, in which we hope to
discover a lot more in the years ahead.
In the Feminenza Magazine, edition 3/2003,
we have already written about the four lives
of the feminine gender. You can read it in
the magazine, on page
6.
The Male and Female
This Male and Female level initially forms as a
building block during the first twelve years of
life, but also changes and develops along with
us during the rest of our lives. Male and female
refers to the physical body and all its capabilities,
processes and cycles that are activated at
different times as we age. Much of our early
education, including what belongs with 'one's
gender', comes from the cultural background
in which we grew up. This knowledge is printed
in the Male and Female levels, and can
influence a person during their whole life. In
the development of the Male, his challenge is
to not allow himself to be carried away by the
enormous power that is housed in him, but to
contain, control and direct it and to use it for
the good of all. The challenge for the development
of the Female, who is also powerful, is
to come forward with what she knows and
can do and to take responsibility. Her challenge
is to give the psychology of 'hiding behind
mother's skirts' less chance and to become
bolder when something becomes difficult. Both
the Male and Female lives develop through the
guidance of the other three within.
The Man and Woman
These
lives awaken during puberty, and they bring the development of
greater awareness.
As these lives develop, they have an enormous
versatility and capacity to do and make things
happen in the world. This is the life that builds
a career, wants to change the world and wants
to take on the responsibility and contract of
having a family. They could be likened to the
role of the mother and father in how they
manifest. The Woman will often be the backbone
of the family, who encourages and takes
care of everyone, who provides a steady and
constant environment and who has a very
good eye for knowing how everyone is and what they need. The Man would
be more likely
to have the role of keeping the boundaries
intact of what is and what is not allowed for
the children (for their own good), but also to
come up with new and unexpected ideas and
ventures.
The Gentleman and Lady
The
Gentleman and Lady lives have to be selfbuilt and they have an
overview of the other
levels. They are always open to what the next
step in life may be and also can receive what
the higher level, the Tenant is indicating.
They also keep watch on the balances of the
Male/Female and Man/Woman, looking out
that they don't get too stressed by the changes
and developments a person goes through.
The Lady/Gentlemen lives actively support
these changes by searching new ways of going
on. They are both sensitive to and conscious of
what the other lives need and they both have
the ability to gather intelligence about what is
going on at the various levels. In a way you
could say that they are like the bloom of a flower
and that the best of the genders can be
found in them, supported by the vitally important
'stem' of the Male/Female and the living
processes of the Man/Woman. In this life rich
human qualities are gathered, grown and radiated,
such as care, patience, understanding,
encouragement, forgiveness and love.
The Tenant
The
Tenant has to do with what a person stands for and the reason why
someone does
what they do. The Tenant is also concerned
with where a person wants to go next and can
be likened to a radar, which is active twentyfour
hours a day (whether we are conscious of
it or not), sending out feelers and picking up important messages and
passing them on
through feelings and intuitive knowledge.
Mostly you have to be quiet in yourself to
'hear' these messages and this is how when
someone's had a question on their mind for
weeks, and then suddenly, one day whilst they
are doing the washing up, and not thinking
about anything in particular, the answer 'drops
in'. A famous example of this was Archimedes,
the Greek philosopher, scientist, and inventor,
who was working on a problem for ages, and
then one day whilst taking a bath he shouted
the word 'Eureka' as he suddenly found the
solution! In the Tenant life, gender is not the
first issue, as maybe you already have realised
from the fact that the name is the same for
both. However, the expression of it will be
'coloured' in a feminine or masculine way,
which adds to the richness of life.
