The Multi-Dimensional Woman

In this issue of the Feminenza Magazine you will find writings which introduce the concept that in the female gender different dimensions, natures and dynamics can be discerned, each with their own needs and intelligences. The members of Feminenza have put together the first findings and researches about this fascinating world, but much more can be discovered. The understanding of these dimensions really is the backbone of the special development journey which every woman can undertake. As some writings refer to these dimensions, we want to give the reader an initial introduction about them. Within this we want to emphasise that the importance does not lie so much in the titles, but more in the understanding of the essence of these dimensions. Of course much more can be revealed about these dynamics; the understanding of them is, as we have found, essential and helpful in beginning to understand oneself.

The ways and traditions
of the country you are born
in have a strong influence
on the Female.

The first dimension
The Female - The Elementary Self
This dimension could also be called the Biological Self. It concerns the physical aspect, the development of which is the same for all women from Birth, to Puberty to Menopause and further. You are born with this dimension, and soon after it starts to show elementary characteristics, in behaviour, emotions and psychology. Also the ways and traditions of the country you are born in have a strong influence on this dimension.

The second dimension
The Woman - The Maturing Self
She becomes active in the period of Puberty, in which important physical changes take place, but also mental, emotional and social changes. Girls become fertile women and gradually gain new insights and greater capabilities of the mind. Suddenly there is the consideration of the whole world and what is going on in it, often quite a lot to handle. It takes time to find a new balance, and for some this is easier than for others. From this period - if all goes well - arises a maturing woman, who becomes more and more capable and learns to manage the many aspects of life. This is the Woman in full bloom and glory, of whom much is demanded and who always faces the challenge of keeping the right balances in her life. However, she is not alone, the third dimension is always there and ready to offer help.

The third dimension
The Lady - The Wise Self
The first two dimensions really need this dimension, the Lady. She keeps the bigger picture and one’s purpose in life in mind, by which the activities of the Female and the Woman are being measured. She will keep an eye on both of them and makes sure that the balances between wellbeing and what needs to be done are kept, in a skilful way. She also helps the first two dimensions to refine in what they do and how they respond. When the Wise Self is active, one will feel a wisdom, peace and settlement coming from the female gender, which can have a strong influence on all those around her. This dimension needs to be developed, and the qualities which go with it are for example tact, insight in human psychology and understanding.

The fourth dimension
The Tenant - The Inner Self
This dimension is often recognised as the inner voice each person has in themselves, which tries to guide them through the course of their life. The question is always how well we can listen to these inner signals and if we are able to translate them. The overall growing consciousness we can have about our situation and our life is to do with this dimension, the Inner Self.

The fifth dimension
The Embassy
This dimension really has to do with the development of our consciousness that we in all our dimensions, are connected in one process to all dimensions outside of us. To know and feel oneself to be connected with everything seen and unseen, and the wish to serve the greater purpose of that. We see this dimension in the lives of people, of whom we know today that they have played an important role in history. They are seen as special people, because they worked for a greater cause than just their own lives.
